Silly title, huh? Thinking about Vancouver, that was the first thing that came to my mind: the great shawarma("shaorma" the Romanian spelling :) ) I had there. I love "shaorma", Romania loves it, so, I was already missing it after one month on the ship. I was so surprised to find a place that was making it.
In this place called "Falafel maison", the cooks were moving so fast, like I have never seen before and if you are the type that likes spicy food and you ask for spicy sauce in your shawarma, boy... you are in for a HOT treat! Don't worry, you will regain your sence of taste the next day :)))
I remember one of the days when I went out in Vancouver with my Ruxandra and my Luminita, first stopping for a coffe at Starbucks and then taking a few hours walk through the huge city that Vancouver is. You need at least a week to see it properly, but we saw some of it and we enjoyed it.
I will not start giving a complete report of every street I saw and liked, of the cool restaurants, of the great malls for great shopping sessions, of the gorgeous parks in Vancouver. I will let some of the pictures I made, talk for themselves. But just remember this: if you ever find yourself in Vancouver, don't miss: "Stanley Park", "Vancouver Aquarium", "Minter Gardens", "Christ Church Cathedral", "Canada Place" (where the cruise ships dock), "Grouse Mountain" and many others.
